Don't agree with these findings. Way too airy fairy..not enough meat in the research. I'm a 7 year plus survivor of an acute Type A AD. Stats should be much more detailed and include: smoking: overweight, exercise, lifestyle, food etc.
You need to remember databases have limitations. The majority of large aortic databases like Mount Sinai and Yale as well as IRAD do not take into account many variables does not mean the data is not meaningful. We are currently look at the effect of obesity. Thanks for your comment.
